Speak English like you've been there before
Short animated scenes from real life: ordering coffee, a taxi, your first day at work. Watch it, say it, act it out. Lin remembers what you find hard.
Free to use. No sign-up: Lin keeps your progress in this browser.
Hear it, say it, see every word you got right.
Each scene shows the textbook way first, then what people actually say. Repeat a line and Lin marks every word: green when it lands, red when it doesn't, with a tip on how to fix it.
Practise the conversation before you need it.
You play Lin. AI plays the barista, the driver, your new manager. It follows what you actually say, then shows you what to say better next time.
A friend who remembers you.
Your goal, your level, what's going on in your life, the words you keep missing. Tomorrow's plan starts there, and you can see and edit everything Lin knows.

Questions about Lin Says
What is Lin Says?
Lin Says is a free way to practise speaking English with short animated scenes, led by Lin, an animated character, and the friends she meets in each scene. Each scene is a real conversation, like ordering coffee or checking in at a hotel. You watch it, repeat each line with word-by-word feedback, then act it out with an AI partner.
Is Lin Says free?
Yes. Watching, shadowing and role-play are free, and you don't need an account. Your progress stays in your browser.
How does the pronunciation feedback work?
When you repeat a line, speech recognition writes down what it heard, and Lin compares that with the line word by word. Missed words are marked, with a short tip about the sound. It checks words, not single sounds, so treat it as a guide, not a test.
What does Lin remember about me?
Your goal, your level, what's going on in your life and the words you miss, each with where Lin learned it. You can see, edit or delete all of it on the Lin remembers page.
Who is Lin学姐?
